For over 50 years, Leather Man Ltd. has been producing excellent New England Hand Craftsmanship. Our belts are made with high quality vegetable tanned top grain leather and hand polished cast brass buckles, featuring classic styling that is much imitated but rarely matched. Please note that our belts run small, so we recommend ordering one size up from your pant size. For example, if you wear a size 34 pant, please order a size 36.

Our Shot N Shell belt features two side by sides and one over and under on Khaki Cotton Webbing, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines Leather Man Ltd. All of our products are proudly made in a small factory in Essex, Connecticut, where we have built a warm, cooperative, and laughter-filled workplace environment over the past half a century. Our team consists of experienced sewers, cutters, painters, cobblers, salespeople, and dedicated owners, all committed to delivering high quality products.

We take pride in using only the best components for our belts. The brass used in our buckles is sourced from the same foundry that supplies luxury brands like Vuitton, Coach, and Dooney. It is hand-polished to a low luster and fully compliant with California Proposition 65. Our top grain leather is vegetable tanned and sourced from North America's largest tannery. Each belt is carefully crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every piece meets our strict standards for quality.

At Leather Man Ltd., we do not have a separate quality control department because every employee is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring perfect craftsmanship. With an average tenure of 13 years per employee, our factory boasts a combined 278 years of experience in belt making.
